Bioplastics from renewable sources:
Minimal impact it its creation, minimal impact at the end of their shelf life
BIOPLASTICS THAT GROW
FROM NATURE AND CONTRIBUTE
TO ITS PRESERVATION
The plastics derived—entirely or partly—from renewable sources are an ever more important alternative in the food sector. They are created from natural elements, generally from plant carbohydrates, that are turned into polymers thanks to bacterial fermentations. The result is a bioplastic with excellent properties, which will most likely be biodegradable and/or compostable.
