Bioplastics from renewable sources:
Minimal impact it its creation, minimal impact at the end of their shelf life

BIOPLASTICS THAT GROW
FROM NATURE AND CONTRIBUTE
TO ITS PRESERVATION

The plastics derived—entirely or partly—from renewable sources are an ever more important alternative in the food sector. They are created from natural elements, generally from plant carbohydrates, that are turned into polymers thanks to bacterial fermentations. The result is a bioplastic with excellent properties, which will most likely be biodegradable and/or compostable.

They come from renewable sources

These plastics are made up of different plant-based products and subproducts.

They are easier to dispose

They are mostly biodegradable and/or compostable packages, which allow for a correct disposal at the end of their shelf life.

Also for printed complexes

Our hard work in the R&D department allows us to likewise apply these characteristics in printed complexes.

Highly functional
alternative

The accumulated experience and our thorough research allows us to ensure our clients that these light packages offer the necessary functional characteristics: barrier, machinability, structure and aesthetics.

Transparency and certification

Our solutions specify at all times the percentage of renewable materials they include. We believe that, in all those aspects related to eco-design, the information must be transparent and true.

In the event that the client deems it relevant for providing value to its brand, we can look into the possibility of obtaining the OK biobased certification from the prestigious Austrian institute TÜV.
