Until now, your requirements have needed less eco-friendly packaging, but Eniter offers you a different proposal. We present a recyclable package that also provides a high barrier—an essential detail for products as sensitive to external agents as yours.
Multiple Layers, One Material
The lightweight packaging that Eniter is now bringing to market has the following characteristics:
• It is composed of multiple layers of polypropylene. This monomaterial feature greatly enhances its recyclability.
• The combination of carefully studied different layers provides the high barrier needed to keep the organoleptic properties of nuts intact over time, thus preventing food waste.
• The various layers that make up the composite have different melting points. These differences are sufficient to produce bags within a relatively easy temperature range to manage without compromising the external appearance of the packaging.
• The outer layer is designed to allow for perfect printing.
In Search of the Perfect Format
This monomaterial and multilayer solution has an additional advantage: the ability to package in both flowpack and doypack formats. The outer layers of our solution can be offered with different melting points:
• If choosing to package in flowpack format, we will select a multilayer monomaterial that will melt at medium temperatures on the outside.
• If the choice is the doypack—currently favoured by distributors and consumers—we will use a composite whose outer layer supports very high melting points, perfect for this option.
• If opting for a doypack with a zipper closure, this option will also be fully recyclable.
